Palm Centro Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I recently bought a palm centro from sprint. I REALLY like it but when i went to make a voice memo, nothing recorded. Also, when I went to use the camcorder, there was no sound with my video. It's been less than 30 days and I do have insurance on it so should I go get a new centro? maybe mine is just broken.
