How much is a united states of America 1 oz fine sliver - one dollar coin worth?

I bet you added the term dollar for it is not on what you have. You have what is called a silver round and it is more of a medal, for it is not a coin. coins are struck by governments and your item was struck by a private mint. You have what is also called silver bullion, that is one ounce of .999 silver. It should say that on it also as well as the one ounce. It's value depends on the value of silver at the time of sale. By the way the date means nothing and it was not struck in1922. private mints seem to do their thing when it comes to silver rounds and few have dates right on purpose. Spot at the close of business Friday was around $38.27 so your round is worth around $34 or so. Silver goes up and down daily. If you do not need the cash it may pay to hold it for awhile.
